With the 2019-2020 high school basketball season in Southern California coming to a close, Scorebook Live’s Connor Morrissette and Bodie DeSilva will break down the breakout players from each class beginning with the class of 2023.

The top freshmen from this past season are listed below and separated intro three categories: breakout stars, contributors with high potential and players to keep an eye out for in the future. The list spans the L.A. City, Southern and San Diego Sections.

Marcus Adams – Narbonne

Adams scored 50 points in a game against Rancho Dominguez this season.
